Privacy Policy

General principle

This site has no user accounts — browsing everything requires no registration or login. At the application level we do not ask for, nor deliberately collect, personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or phone number.

Information we process

The following information is processed automatically to keep the site running, to protect it, and to understand traffic:

• Affiliate click counts: when you click a Go to provider button and the outbound /go hop resolves as a document navigation, we store only the product id and a timestamp so the operator can see outbound click totals. Image hotlinks and HEAD probes are not counted, and no IP address, user-agent, or other identifier is stored in this log;
• Rate limiting: to prevent abuse, the server temporarily uses your IP address in memory for request-rate limiting (roughly a one-minute window). This data lives in memory only and is never written to the database;
• Infrastructure logs: like nearly every website, our server and reverse proxy automatically record standard access logs (IP address, time, requested path) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are rotated and cleared under the hosting platform's routine policy.

Cookies and local storage

The site itself uses only the following strictly functional local storage — nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking:

• A cookie named lang: remembers your language choice (Chinese/English) so the root path / can redirect to the right locale;
• vps-navi-theme in browser localStorage: remembers your light or dark theme choice;
• vps-navi-announcement-collapsed in browser localStorage: remembers whether you collapsed the site announcement.

Analytics (loaded only when configured)

If the site operator has configured an analytics tool (Google Analytics or self-hosted Matomo), the corresponding script loads and may collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, visit duration, approximate geography, and device information. When not configured, no such script loads and no such data is generated. You can opt out by enabling your browser's do-not-track setting, installing the official Google Analytics browser add-on, or clearing and blocking the related cookies in your browser.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

This site contains affiliate links to third-party providers. After clicking Go to provider you leave this site; the provider's site may set its own cookies and process data under its own privacy policy, which this policy does not cover. Please read the privacy policy on the third-party site.

Third-party services

For cross-currency comparison, our server fetches exchange rates from Exchange Rate API and computes USD reference prices. The request is made server-side and carries none of your information — your browser never talks to that service.

Data retention

Affiliate click counts are kept long-term for operating statistics and contain no personally identifiable data; rate-limit data exists only briefly in memory; infrastructure access logs are cleared under the hosting platform's policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data.

Your rights

Because this site processes almost no personal data, there is normally no personal record to access or delete. If you believe our logs contain your personal information and you want to exercise rights such as access, correction, or deletion (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the date at the top revised accordingly; material changes will also be flagged appropriately, for example via a site announcement.
